Are you interested in becoming an ASA Umpire?  ASA offers the best training and most exciting opportunities of any other softball organization.  Benefits of officiating ASA Softball:

  • Comprehensive training program: Local, Metro, Regional, and National Umpire Schools ensure each umpire has access to the training needed to advance in your umpiring career.

  • Opportunities to advance to the highest levels of officiating, including the World Cup, Pan-American Games, and the Olympics.

Other information:

2012 Dues

  • $55.00 (18 years and older)

  • $30.00 (17 years and younger)

  • $22.00 Optional additional insurance.

Steps to Registering in GSJUA
Questions about registration should be directed towards your local UIC
GSJUA Board Members & UIC.

Forms and Documents you will need: (note all forms in Adobe .pdf format)

  1. GSJUA Registration Form - download it

  2. Back Ground Check Authorization - download it

  3. Copy of your valid drivers license or identification card.

  4. W9 Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification - download it

To Register:

Complete all forms, including a copy of your drivers license/identification card and mail them to your Local UIC or you may send them to:

Background Checks:
Beginning this 2009 Season, all ASA Region 14 Umpires (CA, NV, HI) will complete a background check.  If you have questions about this program - Click Here
